Manual Lymph Drainage

Manual Lymph Drainage is a specialist type of massage designed to stimulate the lymphatic system which is part of the immune system, made up of lymphatic vessels, nodes, proteins, waste products and immune system elements. The massage is light rhythmic movements with very light pressure.

A series of techniques are used including stretching, compressing and gliding motions. This helps to drain the lymph nodes to allow the fluid to move freely and preventing it being trapped

The lymphatic system is the body's internal drainage designed to rid your body of acidic and toxic waste. When our lymphatic system is poorly functioning or backed up & congested, it has a huge impact on your body and how you feel overall as there is a build up of waste products and toxins that your body is unable to flush out.
